About
I’m a freelance writer living in Southwestern Ontario in Canada who can’t decide if she’s happier with yarn and needles or a golf club in her hands. I love to write and read and teach and am lucky enough to be able to do all three almost every day. Have a peek at my freelance work at WrightWriter.com or read some of my published and unpublished stories in the Story Room.
The picture on the side of the page is of the beach at Southampton, Ontario on a windy day in late September–no beach umbrellas and sun-loving families, just the sounds of gulls in the wind and waves on the shore. In the winter, I think of this this place often. My favourite memories are early mornings alone with coffee, my laptop and the view of my neighbour’s beautiful garden. It’s a perfect place to write, think and daydream.
Please join me as I share my writing life with what, I hope, are The Wright Words.

Hi. I just dropped in and wanted to say hello to a fellow Canadian writer. I noticed you’re from Ontario. I’m from Nova Scotia. I’m going now to check out the rest of your blog..
Thanks for dropping by, Laura. I had to fix the link for my writing book this morning. If you tried to visit, the link is http://wrightingwords.wordpress.com/. Cheers from rainy Ontario!
I have nominated you For The Bouquet Of Three Award! For more information please go here to my blog post http://ladykins.wordpress.com/2013/05/08/bouquet-of-three-awards/
Take care and congrats!
Thanks for the nomination! Now I have some work to do to answer those questions!
